After many years of working as a radio DJ, former TV talk show host Alan Partridge gets to be on TV again. When the former presenter dies, he gets to fill in as a presenter on the BBC show 'This Time'. With him comes his longtime assistant Lynn as well as his radio co-presenter Simon.
