Alexandra Wilson is a suburban girl who suddenly discovers she is a princess of a mystical kingdom. Her exotic visitor Kuru and a magical elephant Anala help her master her new magical powers. Amanda, JB and Marcus are her band mates and friends. Her family consists of parents Anita and Jim and her younger sister Zoe.

The mysterious Indian Kuru, riding the often invisible elephant Anala, tells them she's in fact the magical princess-heir of Manjipour. She's expected 'home' to mount the throne in that Indian state she never even heard of. Only its royal house can perform magic.
