- Rowan Krzysiak2025年2月13日I would need to talk to you directly to fully express the wonder of the film. What I can say is that I think it's one of the greatest films ever made. Essentially untouchable in terms of its conception and execution. On level after level after level it is fascinating. It's both deeply personal if The Beatles have played any significant part in your life but it also feels like you're looking at one of the most important cultural artifacts that ever existed. Arguably the world's most influential band writing their final songs infront of your eyes with a climax of their final ever public performance (even that summary doesn't do it justice). It is also completely of this era. Of course there's the technology that was necessary to restore the footage but more so it's the freedoms offered to Peter Jackson and his team. They're completely free from the shackles of a cinema, TV or even a DVD/Blu-ray package. The streaming era has allowed for a format seemingly free of constraint and one that provides the honesty that the passing of 50 years of time has allowed for. There's so much more to say...
