Des scientifiques pensent que lorsqu'une météorite s'est écrasée sur Terre il y a 65 000 000 d'années provoquant la disparition des dinosaures, elle a en réalité créé deux univers parallèles : la Terre que nous connaissons est référée comme une « autre Terre » par les habitants d'une Terre peuplée de dinosaures et nommée « Dino Earth ». Mais les tribus des Dragonoids et des Blastasaures furent attaquées par les Evoliens, des amibes surdéveloppées arrivées sur Terre via la météorite. Ces derniers décidèrent ensuite de conquérir l'« autre Terre ». Mais trois amis répondant à un appel reçoivent les Dino-Guts et se dressent contre les Evoliens après s'être transformés en Aba Rangers.
