Star Trek: The Animated Series Ratings & Reviews
Vincent Reggiannini
May 22, 2025
When the Original Series ended there was still a very strong desire for more Star Trek stories. The animated series may have been very limited by its budget but it retained and successfully expanded the Star Trek canon, and gave us some high-concept shows that still kept a young audience enthralled with the concept of Gene Roddenberry’s ideologies. Kept alive by many (but not all) of the original cast, James Doohan talent voiced many of the secondary characters and Walter Koenig, originally left out of the voice cast, wrote “The Infinite Vulcan”.
