The curious, adventure-seeking group of 10-year-old fourth-grade boys--Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny--all join in on buffoonish adventures that sometimes involve nothing. Sometimes, something that was simply at the start spins right out of control. Everything is odd in the small mountain town of South Park, and the boys always find something to do with it.

South Park Ratings & Reviews
- collinjb1March 14, 2025Greatest most relevant television show ever.
- TV watcherDecember 29, 2025Very funny, my favourite seasons are 1-4 and 26-28
- Rabb YoungDecember 28, 2025South Park is straight-up legendary. Crude, savage, hilarious, and never afraid to roast everyone and everything, politics, celebrities, trends, you name it. The boys (Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny) are icons, Randy's chaos is peak comedy, and the quick-turnaround episodes keep it brutally current. Even in 2025 with the wild Trump/Antichrist arcs in Seasons 27-28, they nailed the satire without pulling punches
- Scott beardDecember 16, 2025South Park is fearless, filthy, and razor sharp. From its very first crude animation and shocking premise, the show carved a space in television that was entirely its own. Unlike any other cartoon before it, it didn’t aim to comfort or entertain lightly; it aimed to provoke, to challenge, and to hold a mirror up to the absurdities, hypocrisies, and contradictions of modern life. Trey Parker and Matt Stone created a world where no topic was too sacred, no public figure too untouchable, and no cultural trend too trivial to escape their scathing scrutiny. It takes aim at everyone equally, from politicians to celebrities, religious figures to corporations, and from fringe social movements to mainstream culture. Every episode is a balancing act of sharp wit and social critique, blending observational humor with biting satire. The humor is filthy, often gross, sometimes shocking to the point of disbelief, but always purposeful. Each grotesque visual gag, each vulgar punchline, serves the larger point: nothing is too sacred to examine and mock. Beneath the crude humor lies intelligence and craft. South Park consistently displays an uncanny understanding of human nature, societal structures, and cultural absurdities. Episodes like “All About the Mormons” or “Make Love, Not Warcraft” combine research, insight, and satire in a way that is genuinely smart while remaining accessible and funny. The show’s writers tackle the complex and the controversial with a rare combination of fearlessness and precision. It is both a comedy and a commentary, a vehicle for entertainment and cultural reflection. Its speed and relevance are unmatched. With a production cycle that allows episodes to respond to current events almost in real time, South Park remains fast and fresh. Where other shows might take months to respond to a social controversy, South Park often lands within days, skewering the latest absurdity in a way that feels immediate, personal, and sharp. This agility keeps the show relevant even decades into its run, allowing it to comment on everything from political scandals to viral internet phenomena without ever feeling stale. The show is also surprisingly self-aware. Amidst the chaos, there is a strong sense of meta commentary. Characters like Cartman, Kenny, Kyle, and Stan serve as archetypes and vehicles for social critique, and the show frequently acknowledges its own extremity, exaggeration, and absurdity. Its willingness to examine itself as part of the culture it critiques adds another layer to its sophistication. South Park has never shied away from controversy. It has offended countless groups, been censored in parts of the world, and sparked public debate about freedom of expression. Yet it continues undeterred, never sacrificing its core voice. Its resilience against cultural pressure and its refusal to compromise its vision is part of what elevates it to legendary status. Beyond humor and satire, South Park often carries real emotional weight. Episodes like “You’re Getting Old” or “Imaginationland” explore complex human themes, including mortality, change, loss, and identity, in ways that are deeply moving. Beneath the crude exterior lies a show capable of empathy, reflection, and insight, which only makes the biting humor more effective. Its animation style, deliberately rough and simplistic, reinforces the show’s ethos. The cutout aesthetic is instantly recognizable and adds a layer of charm to the outrageous content. The visual simplicity contrasts with the complexity of the satire, making the show accessible while allowing the writing and ideas to shine. After more than two decades, South Park remains culturally significant. It is a lens through which to examine society, a repository of fearless commentary, and a masterclass in comedic timing. Its impact extends beyond television, influencing a generation of writers, comedians, and satirists who attempt, often unsuccessfully, to capture the same blend of irreverence, insight, and audacity. In short, South Park is not just a television show; it is a cultural institution. It is fearless, filthy, and razor sharp, but also intelligent, reflective, and enduring. It pulls no punches, offends without apology, and simultaneously makes viewers laugh, think, and squirm in recognition. For anyone seeking satire that challenges, entertains, and reflects the absurdities of modern life with unflinching honesty, South Park stands alone. Its legacy is secure, its influence undeniable, and its status? Legend status unlocked!! 🔓❤️👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
- qmechanJuly 27, 2025Why doesn't this thing have six stars?
- Halim MellickNovember 15, 2025You can say what you want about the Matt Stone & Trey Parker but you cannot deny that they are outsider artists who broke through to mainstream while staying true to their values. In their own words... "we have f**k you money now"
- elkl5November 2, 2025Very bad
- NonPlayableContentOctober 25, 2025The best balance of pushed boundaries and commentary. Its going to at least once step on your toes but its all in good fun. The current seasons are doing what the originals did, pushing so hard its risking the collapse of the show. Its important American culture in its own right.
- ChillPlexMay 6, 2025Oh jeez, South Park is the best! I laughed so hard I snorted chocolate milk! It’s super funny, kinda naughty! South Park blew my freakin’ socks off!! One minute you’re laughin’, the next you’re like “WHAT THE HECK?!” I didn’t even blink for three seasons straight! It’s wild, it’s rude, it’s PERFECT!
- splattzOctober 20, 2025south park my goat 💪
- hmny7October 20, 2025Why can’t I give this a full 5 stars?! Love it, practically nonfiction!
- Scott SmithOctober 16, 2025This show has always been funny, clever, subversive and controversial, (and also just dumb and crude humor at times) but the latest episodes in 2025 have been masterful political satire. Matt and Trey created a pop culture treasure with this show, and I'm just one more satisfied fan.
- tmfbr0September 10, 2025South Park is, in my view, a terrible, perverse, and disgraceful show that corrupts the minds of children. Its crude attempts at humor reduce important issues into childish caricatures, failing miserably at offering meaningful commentary. The style of the show makes it clear that it appeals to the lowest common denominator. No serious, thoughtful adult would truly find value in such content—it is media designed for immaturity, not for intellectual growth. It undermines what entertainment ought to be by normalizing vulgarity and mocking things that should be treated with respect. What is most disturbing is its open ridicule of religion and morality. The show repeatedly portrays Jesus Christ as a mere punchline, a tool to be mocked, while promoting ideas and imagery that align more closely with satanic behavior than with anything wholesome or constructive. For this reason, I believe South Park represents not only a cultural failure but a direct betrayal of the moral fabric that once defined American media.
- Walter Jospeh KovacsSeptember 8, 2025The US enslaved millions of people for centuries and continues to subject them to racial oppression; is profoundly violent with high rates of murder and crime; is intensely superficial and anti-intellectual; has some of the most sickening non-sensical religious extremism in the world; and has a population brainwashed into believing that their food is healthy and that healthcare is the reserve of the rich. America is a mindset rooted in the cruel paradigm of capitalism and has inevitably resulted in a fascist government and authoritarian control. When you look at the nation's nuclear armaments and how much it spends on its military or funds atrocities abroad, it is frightening and makes one feel completely powerless against such an evil empire. South Park isn't just comedy, it wakes people up, it's a mirror to the society that Americans pretend not to see. It gives hope that there are other people who see the absurdity, the cruelty and hypocrisy. It is one of the greatest shows ever,
- KennyApril 13, 2025randy is the best

- fraggle67August 22, 2025My personal favorite animated TV series. Never afraid to push boundaries and magnify topics of the time.
- Jeff & TimJuly 24, 2025Always the best from the warped minds of Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Let's see what this might stir up. #Trump
- ExpoPlexJuly 24, 2025A masterclass in comedic satire.
