When Molly, on behalf of Rita, sends a job application, Rita ends up with a job offer from her former primary school, which she reluctantly accepts. Hjørdis, out of concern for Rita, applies for a job at the same school, so she can be there for her.

You Are What You EatRita has to stand in for another teacher in "home education". But she is a terrible cook and the only meal she can cook is pasta with ketchup! However, Knud has been taught by his parents to avoid "chemistry", and Rita therefore arranges a cook-off with Knud. The outcome is a little unexpected. Meanwhile Hjørdis also experiences trouble with Leas son, Allan.

Rita is invited for dinner at Lea's on a 'Family Tuesday', and Hjørdis plans Reinulf's first birthday. In 1985, Rita receives an offer from Susanne, after her mum moves out.
