I realize that EarthMix were trying to change things up (particualrly Earth), but his over-the-top acting just didn't fit him. Also, the old BL tropes of refusing to speak up when every other normal person would and instead allow miscommunication to ruin things is just too tired and boring in 2025. Additionally, you know at the start that for one person to win, the other must lose, which makes for a melencholy conclusion so it is not on my rewatch list. Sorry to say, the Japanese version was better.
