Shiori, a cheerful person who is good at giving compliments, always looks out for her junior colleague Shinozaki Takuma in various ways. Shinozaki, in turn, finds himself comforted by her presence every day. Both characters, who have never had a relationship before-with their "years of being single matching their age"-gradually begin to develop feelings for each other, shifting from a mentor-mentee dynamic to something more romantic.
