It is geared to the 5-9 age range. Part of the dialogue in each episode in the English version is in Spanish but only individual words or phrases which are explained in English.

To cheer her up, Maya, Miguel, and friends decide to make a secret "surprise" video of "A Day in the Life" of their grandmother. But their amateur efforts at documentary go awry when they keep losing track of their star in her travels through their neighborhood.
