The First DayOn 19th August 2004 French student Amelie Delagrange is found on Twickenham Green with fatal head injuries. Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton is tasked with leading the investigation. There is no forensic evidence from the attacker at the crime scene, and no apparent motive. But there has been a spate of similar violent attacks on young women in the area.
The Van

The VanA Police Constable tells Sutton about a statement a woman gave on another murder. That man also has a white van. They do surveillance on Levi Bellfield and charge his house to arrest him. But he is not there. Where did he go? His wife points to the loft.
The Suspect

The SuspectAfter arresting Bellfield, Sutton realizes he only has 72 hours to tie him to three murders and an attempted murder. He has to get other departments to co-operate with his or they can't win the case. Then Bellfield's wife walks into the station to give a statement.
