Season 1

36 young men gather from around the world to compete for the chance to make their K-pop idol debut. These "Mates" must rely on each other as they face different challenges, but how far will their camaraderie go when everything is on the line? Who has what it takes to impress an all-star panel of celebrity judges including Solar, Onestar, Kim Seung Eun, Hanhae, Vata, and Ingyoo? Find out in the 2024 South Korean reality K-pop competition series hosted by EXO's Xiumin, and directed by Hwang Min Gyu, Park Ho Sin, and Jang In Hye.

Group A and B continue to go head-to-head as they form 3 smaller units within the groups. The units are given 1 of 3 artists (SHINee, 2PM, TXT) and opposing units are given 1 of 2 songs by the artist they get.
