35 years have passed since Lynn Minmay had brought peace between the Zentradi and the humans. Nekki Basara is a guitarist and a singer of the band Fire Bomber. Living in the flying colony City 7 , he composes and sings songs in the belief that music holds a greater power. However, an unknown alien race appeared and started laying siege upon City 7.

During one of their concerts, the colony is attacked by a mysterious enemy with an even more mysterious weapon that leaves its victoms in a catatonic state. Basara, yearning to have his music heard, flies into the battle zone in his Valkerie to spread the message of music. - Spiritia Level

Tentions rise between Max and Millia when they, as the two leaders of the fleet, get into an argument about the new threat while being interviewed. A6First ContactAfter constant pressure from her daughter, Millia agrees to let Mylene stay in the band. Millia, however makes one consession that Mylene go out on a date with Gamilin. Mylene is aprehensive, but agrees. Meanwhile, Gamilin tries to find out more about Basara and his Valkerie. As Basara and the band wait for their turn to play at the band competition, the fleet is attack yet again by Gigile and the mysterious fighter group. - Virgin Bomber
A8Virgin BomberBasara contemplates removing the missile system on his Valkerie. Ray's friend Akiko buys a song Fire Bomber recorded on a hunch that it will become a hit. Gigil confronts Gepernich as to why they are wasting their time on small skirmishes when they could take the whole fleet in one big attack. Gepernich hints that what they learn from the humans could change everything. - Angel Night
A9Angel NightThe band get its first taste of real succes when their song "Planet Dance" makes it to 194 on the top 200 list. Mylene meets famous singer Alice Holiday. The Varauta attack and take Alice's spiritia. The movation behind their attacks begin to be revealed when Gepernich cryptically mentions the "Spiritia Farm Project". - Minmay Video
A11Minmay VideoMylene is casted as the lead in the "Linn Minmei story". Mylene is excited about the opportunity, but Basara is, of course, oblivious to this. Mylene's co-star, Bobby, tries to take advantage of her, but he is stopped when a Varauta soldier breaks into their hotel. With Bobby now in a Spiritia coma, Basara is forced to take over the co-staring role. - A Girl's Jealousy
A15A Girl's JealousyTo help with the moral in City 7 Milia arranges to have a "Valkyrie Carnival" where citizens can see old and new Valkyries and Destroids. Hoping to fortify the military, she also holds try outs where people can test their skills in Valkyrie simulators. A18A Falling Little DevilRay is trying to figure out what is it about Basara's music that effects the comatose pilots. Meanwhile in space, Gepernich orders Sivil to retrieve City 7. She takes a fleet to attack City 7, but has her own agenda: to find out more about Basara, and why his music effects her the way it does. - A Life Threatening Date
A19A Life Threatening DateSivil starts to attack people inside City 7. However, when she hears Basara's music she begins to walk through the streets, and the presence causes the Zentrati to become violent. Elswhere in City 7, a group of terrorists break into the mayor's office, and take Milia hostage. - A Lady's Temptation
A20A Lady's TemptationFame and battles are starting to take it's toll on Basara. The growing popularity of Fire Bomber starts to become more and more evident in City 7. Dokker, who has recovered from his Spiritia induced coma, has been assigned as the leader of the new, elite Emerald squad. - Men of Burning Passion
A22Men of Burning PassionCity 7 gets trapped in the magnetic pull of a nearby star. Milia, Basara and Gamilin do their best to save the city, but the gravitational pull is too strong. A24Merry Go RoundWhile Fire Bomber prepares for their "Sound Force" duties, Sivil for some reason is encased in a bubble hidden in a City 7 park. Gamilin is promoted to Lieutenant and given command of the Diamond squad. He requests being assigned to protecting the Sound Force, but instead is placed under the command of Millia, and charged with protecting the city. - Midnight Duet
A25Midnight DuetBasara shows up late and leaves early for band practice with the newly-formed “Sound Force”, much to the chagrin of everyone. Gamlin’s new assignment gives him the free time to take Mylene to a rock concert, and Basara gets set up to record a duet with the number one singer on the Galaxy Network, Alice Holiday. Meanwhile Gigil is in the City 7 park absolutely fiending for some high-quality Spiritia. - Deathmatch at Planet Lux
A26Deathmatch at Planet LuxThe Macross 7 fleet has entered the orbit of the Earth-like planet Lux, and prepare to rendezvous with the Macross 5 fleet that arrived before them. Citizens of City 7 are forbidden from leaving the ship, which means Basara takes it upon himself to not follow orders and head directly for the surface of Lux with Mylene. They get pulled over and the riveting debate and lawyering over whether Sound Force is under civilian or military jurisdiction is interrupted. Also Basara gets to try his new wireless speaker. - Rainbow Colored Song Energy
A27Rainbow Colored Song EnergyBattle 7 and City 7 are stuck on the surface of planet Lux for awhile until repairs are complete. Dr. Chiba shows Fire Bomber the culmination of his many years of research into Song Energy, and unveils his technology giving the musicians in Fire Bomber a New Type of power, - New Sound Weapon
A28New Sound WeaponDr. Chiba shows off some brand new accessories to go with the Sound Force Valkyries and he is really eager to have Sound Force try them. Basara completely spaces out during band practice and then gets grumpy and leaves without telling anyone where he’s going or what he’s doing. Sound Force has to get in their Valkyries and play an important gig without him. - The Formula for a Love Triangle
A30The Formula for a Love TriangleIn his typical fashion, Basara is gone and won’t tell anyone where he is or what he is doing. Mylene asks her bodyguard Michael to follow him and get to the bottom of what he is up to. Mylene airs her frustrations to Gamlin who has a surprising admiration for Basara. Gamlin has been inspired by Basara's piloting to practice his QM-69, and despite the physical demands he strives to QM-69 to completion in order to approach Basara's level. - Passionate Scandal
A31Passionate ScandalA reporter for the Galaxy Sport tabloid has been working on her next big scoop about the mysterious Nekki Basara. Rex drops him off at the sewer where he belongs. The reporter manages to track him down to his super secret busking location in the middle of the City 7 Vegetation Plant, and witnesses him getting beaten to a pulp by a homeless man. But the way he takes the assault is really impressive and I know it sounds stupid when I say it so you would just had to have been there to see it. - Jamming Birds
A32Jamming BirdsAfter the resounding success of Dr. Chiba’s Project M, the United Forces hold open auditions for their own unconventional Song Energy team that is a bit more dependable than the band Fire Bomber and the mercurial Nekki Basara. The auditions culminate in the creation The Jamming Birds, a group of civilian wedding singers with zero combat experience. They are immediately strapped into ejection seats and then thrust into battle under live fire. - Betrayal and a Girl's Tears

He returns to the City 7 Vegetation Plant to fill Sivil with his Song Energy while she is hibernating in her bubble. Gigil also finally has enough Spiritia collected to revive her, and so they will both have their ambitions come to fruition at long last and nothing could possibly go wrong with their plans. - The Day Gigile Sang
A34The Day Gigile SangFire Bomber plays a massive concert in a packed venue filled with fans. Basara pouted and left before the concert started but at least this time his bandmates know why. Basara will not come back until he finds something. Gamlin is released from his duty as leader of Diamond Force. Grabil and Valgo fight over who gets gets dibs on Sivil’s fresh surplus Spiritia, and everyone is awestruck when Gigil arrives to stop the infighting and he sings with the voice of an angel. - A Night for Just the Two of Us
A35A Night for Just the Two of UsBasara has only just begun the ultimate pout. People are starting to notice that Fire Bomber is missing it's lead singer and guitarist, so Mylene and Gamlin hop into their Valkyries to find him and try to put an end to this PR disaster. During their awkward camping trip in the wilderness, Mylene’s exotic pet Guvava goes missing. Meanwhile Lord Geperuniti begins his plan for a mutually peaceful and sustainable future for everybody. - Sivil of the Forbidden Planet
