⭐⭐⭐½ (out of 5) Love Life – The search for connection, one almost-forgotten chapter at a time. “Love Life” is billed as a romance anthology — though in truth, it’s more of a serial anthology than an episodic one. Each of its two seasons follows a different character through the winding, awkward, and occasionally beautiful mess that is modern love. It’s heartfelt, well-acted, and definitely worth a watch… even if, strangely, it doesn’t linger long after the credits roll. The first season stars Anna Kendrick, who’s always a delight to watch and usually impossible to forget — which makes it all the more telling that this show somehow fades from memory almost as quickly as it’s finished. The emotions land in the moment, but they don’t really stay with you. It’s thoughtful without being profound, charming without being standout, and sincere enough to make you nod along — even if you’re unlikely to recall the details a week later. Love Life captures the journey of romance and self-discovery well enough… it just doesn’t leave the kind of mark that great love stories do. Still, as a gentle binge about growing, learning, and occasionally getting it wrong, it’s perfectly pleasant company.
