I’ll admit, I never thought Little House on the Prairie would be for me. I always figured it was more of a “girly show” — soft, sentimental, and not something a guy would get into. But after actually watching it, I’ve got to say, it’s not that bad at all. There’s a lot more depth than I expected — real family struggles, hard work, moral lessons, and even some humor and grit. The stories hit on values like loyalty, perseverance, and doing what’s right, which honestly anyone can relate to. Sure, it’s old-fashioned, but that’s part of the charm. If you’re like me and thought it wasn’t your kind of show, give it a chance. You might be surprised how much you end up enjoying it.

This show did not have to go this hard in 2025-2026. Touches on racism, classism, poverty, religion, men's mental health, women's health, and everything in between.

A show I never watched until very recently and it is amazing. It's crazy how the further back.I go the more I enjoy the content. The world really is declining.

A timeless classic! This is a show that I’ve recently started watching after having moments of memory come to mind of times when I watched it as a child. I started watching it with my littlest child in the mornings, and now I watch it with all of my littles; and they count on/look forward to it.
