A longer series of 16 episodes gives more time with the characters and allows one to get deeper into the lives and personalities of the multiple characters. The aloof introvert with no social skills being introduced to the popular student council adds tension from the start, and watching the characters blossom is a joy. I know that my rating is higher than the average, but I believe it deserves it based on my highest criteria - rewatch value.
