Stan, Zev and Kai accidentally steal the Lexx, the most powerful weapon of destruction in the two universes. After successfully fleeing from the Cluster, the main planet of the League of the 20,000 Planets, they are looking for a new home.
Kai needs protoblood to live outside of his cryochamber. Looking for protoblood, the Lexx returns to the Cluster to learn that a huge insect survived. This insect had controlled The Divine Order and His Divine Shadow in order to eat all human inhabitants of the 20,000 planets. The insect then begins a metamorphosis into the Gigashadow. Gigashadow produces protoblood. With the help of Zev, Kai manages to fill up his store of protoblood. Kai places the cluster lizard Squish in the brain of the insect and thus is able to destroy it.

Mais le rebelle Thodin, qui sera bientôt exécuté, a aussi les yeux rivés sur lui et déforme le système informatique de la ville tout en préparant son évasion. Utilisant le chaos qui éclate, l'officier de sécurité condamné à mort Stanley Tweedle et «l'esclave d'amour» évadé Zev échappent à la capture et finissent par faire équipe avec Thodin ... avec l'assassin mort-vivant Kai suivant, avec l'ordre de tous les tuer. - Super Nova
E2Super NovaZev décide qu'ils devraient se rendre à Brunnis, la maison d'origine des Brunnen-G, dans l'espoir de trouver quelque chose qui puisse prolonger la vie de Kai. Quand ils arrivent, ils le trouvent stérile, à l'exception des messages holographiques laissés par l'excentrique "Poet Man". En entrant dans la bibliothèque, ils ignorent totalement que le Lexx Giggerota est revenu à la vie et complote pour le voler avec l'aide des prédécesseurs divins restants. - Tout doit mourir
E3Tout doit mourirLe Lexx est obligé d'atterrir sur une planète pour manger et reconstituer son approvisionnement en énergie. Pendant qu'ils attendent, Stanley et Zev sortent pour enterrer Kai, qui semble être à court du proto-sang qui l'a fait fonctionner. Sur le chemin du retour, Zev insiste pour enquêter sur une structure. Trop tard, ils découvrent qu'il est rempli de gens fous obsédés par le fait d'obtenir des «corps propres» pour créer des «motifs».
