The year 1945. Among those returning to the country is officer Stanisław Szymanko. He returns to Poland with his wife Angelika. On the day of Stalin's death, Szymanko learns that he has become a father. The militia, thinking that they are happy with the death of the leader, arrest him. Angelika tries to get her husband out of trouble. She goes to the office of Colonel Bergman and, wanting to save her husband, becomes his lover. [Monolith]
