Kommissar Klefisch is a six-part crime series that was first broadcast in the evening program of ARD in January 1990. It was produced by Westdeutscher Rundfunk. Detective Inspector Michael "Mike" Döpper has problems with a suspect who only wants to make statements to the retired Chief Inspector Hermann-Josef Klefisch, also known as Uncle. So begins a cooperation between the two men, initially reluctantly tolerated by Döpper, whereby Klefisch often investigates on his own in the further course, often disagrees with Döpper and puts himself in danger.
