- theicephoenix31 agosto 2025I tell you what, Season 14 of King of the Hill is five stars. It feels like coming home to a fresh tank of propane and a perfectly grilled steak. The Hills return from their time overseas, and it sets the stage for some of the sharpest writing the show has ever had. Hank is still steady, Peggy is still as overconfident as ever, and Bobby has grown into a chef down in Dallas. That boy finally did it. Dale, Bill, and Boomhauer are back too, and it is like meeting old neighbors you have not seen in years. The revival hits the sweet spot. It updates the world of Arlen to fit today but never loses the heart and humor that made it special. It is subtle, thoughtful, and still funny in the dry Texas way it always was. It is not trying too hard, just being true to itself. Critics love it, fans love it, and the numbers show people are watching it in droves. It is warm, funny, and downright good television. Five stars, I will tell you what.

This is a show that doesn't have to rely on shock comedy to be funny like most animated comedies these days, instead it feels more like having a couple beers and sharing somewhat relatable stories with your buddies. Yep.
- ProfSolon23 luglio 2025One of the most respectable classics out there. I'm looking forward to the reboot on hulu.I guess we'll see if it's any good. It'd be one heck of shame to have a flop on such a major title. The nostalgia will be great. As well as what seems to be a cultural shift back to conservative values, it should pair well with the cultural zeitgeist.
