The story of main character inspector K (Shintarô Katsu), who lived in a trailer, and his outlaw policemen plays out over thirteen one-hour episodes in one season in 1980 during which they fight murder, kidnapping, fraud and more. The series features Katsu's real-life daughter (Masami Okumura) and wife (Tamao Nakamura).
