This season will chronicle the lives of the eight Gosselin children and their family as they go on outings and tackle daily challenges and adventures. It will also document Kate's journey as a newly single mother raising 5 year-old sextuplets and 8 year-old twins.

Alaska, Here We Come!Kate and the kids are traveling eight hours to Alaska - their longest trip ever. The Gosselins set out to see huge snow-covered mountains, bright white glaciers and pan for gold, but the excitement builds when they head out to sea in search of whales. (This episode is a prequel to a cross-over in the "Alaskan Hospitality" episode of Sarah Palin's Alaska, which was seen the following month).
