Season 1
The Jericho team is a trio of Allied specialists who operate as intelligence agents and saboteurs behind German lines. Franklin Sheppard of American Army Intelligence is their commanding officer and chief planner. Jean-Gaston Andre of the Free French Air Force is the team's demolitions and weapons expert. Nicholas Gage of the British Navy is a former circus performer (high-wire artist) whose specialty is getting in and out of German installations.

The opener centers on a trio of undercover men in occupied Holland shepherding a naive American electronics expert (Tom Bosley) around a windmill that becomes a German antiaircraft battery. A Jug of Wine, a Loaf of Bread, and Pow!The good guys use a French boys choir to thwart the Germans. The choir cycles through town singing, each carrying a large loaf of bread in the basket on the bicycle. Cleverly hidden inside each loaf is a stick of dynamite (thus, the title). The dynamite is used to blow up the German subs sitting in the harbor.
