Harmon "Harm" Rabb Jr. is a former pilot turned lawyer working for the military's JAG (Judge Advocate General) division, the elite legal wing of officers that prosecutes and defends those accused of military-related crimes. He works closely with Lt. Col. Sarah Mackenzie, and together they do what needs to be done to find the truth.

Ready or NotHarm doesn't have much hope in his defense of a two-star general court-martialed for disobedience and reckless endangerment during a wargame. His job is made more complicated when, in a rare move, Mac is appointed as the judge.

Manetti travel to Naples, Italy when an Interpol officer believes someone aboard a US destroyer is a serial killer who has killed four women while on leave in European ports. Meanwhile, Bud is so frustrated with the simple cases he's been given, he decides to investigate what appears to be an open and shut case and gets surprising results.

Standards of ConductMac is called in to minimize the damage after a Navy lieutenant blows the whistle regarding deficiencies in a top-secret Navy combat device. When she helps the lieutenant get released from the military, she is furious when she later discovers that he had stolen hi-tech secrets to use in his video-game company. Meanwhile, Harm is threatened with a lawsuit by an elderly lady and her shady lawyer following a minor traffic accident.

Second ActsA Navy hero returns from Uzbekistan and faces charges of a fraudulent enlistment because he is a man previously thought to have died on 9/11. The SecNav receives a rebuttal from RAdm. Chegwidden, then fires Cdr. Lindsey and throws him out.

Ice Queen (1)A Boy Scout finds the decomposing body of Lt. Loren Singer in a tree. The NCIS investigates, and Harm becomes the prime suspect. The NCIS finds not only surprises about the death but also circumstantial evidence pointing straight to Harm.
