On disciplinary filing and research duty to prepare the precinct's contraband auction, playful Heldt and his toy robot stumble upon a message in a game machine from ex-con inventor Johannes Korritke, who was recently electrocuted to death working on it. *Narcotics branch big suspects mysterious Freddy Q. to have killed him, perhaps for an invention to grow weed undetected or for the gambling machine, which Achmed helps check out, not as expected. So Heldt teams up discretely with Dutch drug detective Jan Kramer, his stand-in during Nikolas's three years on Mallorca. Korritke's past points to Bochum video arcade "Daddelkönig". while Kramer focuses on allegedly reformed ex-con dealer Markus Wilkens, but Freddy Q.'s identity proves a major complication.
