In this four-episode competition series, five teams are comprised of candy makers, pumpkin carvers, and cake decorators. While working together to create the ultimate Halloween themed display, the competition becomes fierce. One team is eliminated each week and the winner takes home $50,000.

Given a case file that indicates the who and the where, the teams must imagine the what and the why. Plus, in tribute to all the crime solvers out there, the teams make tasting elements that include coffee and doughnuts. Judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira move two more teams through, and one team is eliminated.

The Scary Square-OffThe five remaining teams of amazingly talented cake, pumpkin and sugar artists face off for the first time! Host Jonathan Bennett tasks the teams with creating a scene of two of Halloween's biggest monsters competing against each other in various sports. Plus, the teams must highlight one team member's skill in their display -- first up, sugar artists! Judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira evaluate the designs and ultimately, one team is eliminated.

The Boogeyman's LairJonathan Bennett asks the three remaining teams to imagine the boogeyman's evil lair, and the cake artist is in the hot seat as their entire victim must be made of cake. Judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira determine which two teams head to the finale.

SpellboundThe final two teams create modern spell-casting scenes that include one special effect and three complete characters. Then, it's up to Jonathan Bennett,Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira to decide who will be crowned Halloween Wars champion and win $25,000.
