Arturo De La Riva has spent 10 years of happy marriage with Eugenia, with whom he has a daughter named Aranza. However they do not imagine that Sonia, Eugenia's cousin, is obsessively in love with Arturo in secret, and that this feeling will lead to a terrible tragedy. Meanwhile, Isabel López Cerdán has been married, for two years, to Fernando Córdova, whom she loves above all else.
