Ioan Gruffudd is great as Dr. Henry Morgan, a guy who can’t die (kind of like Highlander, but with a modern twist and a bit of sci-fi mixed in). The stories are clever, the characters are likable, and it’s just a fun show to get into. Honestly, it’s a shame it only got one season - it definitely deserved more.

The Heart (Abe): The emotional anchor of the show is Henry’s relationship with Abe (Judd Hirsch), a sharp-tongued antique dealer who is actually Henry’s grown son (whom he and his late wife adopted during WWII).
