The First Time, AgainHarry's going away with a female doctor he's been seeing. When he learns they're going to be staying at a hotel, he fears that means he will have to get intimate with her. And he hasn't been with anyone since his wife. So he talks to both of his daughters who have different views on the matter. Even Charley gives his points in.
Full Nest

Full NestBarbara's credit card debt and her apartment building going condo forces her to move back home. Harry then makes up some rules so Barbara moves in with Carol. That doesn't work out so Barbara moves back home. Carol gets lonely and decides to move back home also even though Harry has turned her old bedroom into his study.

Here's a Howdy-DoHarry is concerned that no one likes his new girlfriend, that is until they breakup and he sees her for her true self. Meanwhile Carol begins to rethink things as well after realizing she had no problem with Harry's ex.

Strange BedfellowsCarol's been seeing a guy who is an activist. And when he says that he plans to go out of the country Carol offers to go with him and Harry tells her that she's being hasty. One of Harry's patients develops a crush on Laverne. And she decides to deal with it by going out with him.

Tears of a ClownCarol becomes public relations director of the hospital and causes a multi-million dollar lawsuit when she reveals the mental problems of local celebrity Poko the Clown at a press conference. Charley convinces Barbara to pose as his fiance to get a promotion.

DumpedBarbara falls in love with neighbor, Dorothy's nephew, but is surprisingly not phased when he dumps her. Dorothy and Harry have an argument when Dorothy blames Barbara for the breakup.

The More Things Change...The hospital's new owner forces Harry to move his practice after 25 years in the same office. Meanwhile, Carol tries to amend the past after reading Emily's old diary and Charley tries out a new look.

Man of the YearWhen Harry receives a Man of the Year award, his estranged father comes to town for the ceremony, but Harry gets upset when he learns that his father didn't think he could make it as a doctor. Carol overhears the conversation and thinks her grandfather is dying.

A Life in the DayHarry sees five patients: a week-old baby, a five-year-old whose father denies the boy's onset diabetes; a seven-year-old curious about sex; an eleven-year-old having the cast removed from his arm; a belligerent 14-year-old who uses drugs; and an 18-year-old picking up his medical records before going away to college. The end of the episode reveals that all of these have been the same patient at different ages.
