Double Dragon premiered on September 12, 1993 as part of Bohbot's Sunday morning lineup of Amazin' Adventures cartoons. The story involves Billy and Jimmy Lee, twin brothers separated at birth by way of the evil Shadow Master. Billy Lee was raised by the Oldest Dragon at the Dragon Dojo in the art of the Dragon. Jimmy Lee was trained by the Shadow Master at the Shadow Dojo in the evil art of the Shadow (powered by the Black Flame). When the twins reached the age of 18, Billy was declared the new Dragon Master, and Jimmy was already the Shadow Boss. Neither one knew of the other, until now....

When the Shadow Master blasts the sword, deforming it, Vortex attaches it to the Dragon Copter, inadvertently allowing Dao Lung to act as an auto pilot. Dao Lung then helps the Dragons defeat the Shadow Warriors. - Shadow Conned
E8Shadow ConnedCountdown betrays the Shadow Master after being chastised for bumbling a mission. With help from Countdown, the Shadow Khan hypnotizes Daj and causes him to throw the Dragon Claws in the Black Flame, freeing Khan from his prison. After dominating the Shadow Master and taking control of his Shadow Warriors, Khan launches an attack on the Dragon Dojo. - The Sight of Freedom
E9The Sight of FreedomAs the Undertown mutants head above ground to be accepted as equals by Metro City, the Shadow Master hatches a plan to kidnap the police commissioner's daughter and blame it on the mutants. To his surprise, Dao Lung then discovers his master sleeping in a cave, alive and well. E12Daj of the Undertown DragonsThe Shadow Khan begins terrorizing Undertown with his group of Terror Warriors. Meanwhile, Billy and Jimmy discover a large egg hidden in an ancient underground temple. The egg hatches, revealing a real-life dragon that quickly bonds with Daj. Daj and his new pet help the Dragon Masters fend off Khan and his minions.
