He persuades the police that a murder might have taken place, but an overzealous policeman puts the boy's life at risk and Jimmi must save him. Heston invites everyone to a Halloween party. Everyone is keen to see Heston's house, and when he appears in a Rocky Horror-style outfit, their suspicions that he is gay are confirmed. He tries to chat up Lily to no avail. He is then forced to referee an argument between the three children as they argue about her last wishes, which were to allow her body to be used for medical research. An eager policeman wants it to be a suspicious death, but Lily works out that he fell into the bonfire, and that his dog had tried to pull him out.
