Doctor Who (2005) Ratings & Reviews
- AlexApril 18, 2025At its worst, an amusing diversion from the troubles of the day. At its best, some of the best television you could hope to enjoy. Will make you laugh, will make you cry, will make you laugh AND cry. Outstanding, highly recommended.
- Benjamin AdamsNovember 2, 2025Allons-y!
- NonPlayableContentOctober 25, 2025Some of the best "Monster of the week" content ever made. Even as low budget as it can be I think most see it as charming in that way. If you try and watch it all in order you'll probably end up getting bored to be honest so pace your self.
- RichardOctober 18, 2025The TARDIS roared back to life in 2005 and it wasn’t just a revival, it was a regeneration of the entire idea. Russell T Davies reintroduced the Doctor as a wounded hero, Christopher Eccleston’s Ninth was raw, brilliant and deeply human. Billie Piper’s Rose Tyler wasn’t just a companion; she was the emotional anchor. Their chemistry made the show sing. The pacing was sharper, the arcs deeper and the effects finally matched the ambition. It honored the past but dared to evolve. Then came David Tennant, romantic, witty, and heartbreaking. Matt Smith brought manic energy and fairy tale wonder. Capaldi added gravitas and grit. And Jodie Whittaker? She didn’t have it easy. First female Doctor, heavy expectations and a fandom split down the middle. But she brought warmth, curiosity and a sense of wonder that echoed the show’s core. Her run had uneven scripts, sure, but her Doctor never lacked heart. Each Doctor reshaped the mythos while keeping the heart intact. Through it all, the show remained a celebration of empathy, imagination and the belief that one person, armed with nothing but a screwdriver and a sense of wonder, can change the universe.
- Julia StorchMay 11, 2025Cheesy at worst, mindaltering at best!
- LeBron McCaghMarch 23, 2025Absolutely Fantastic
- ScWeeGeeMay 4, 2025A truly fantastic show sci-fi show. Might start off a little cheesy, but it turns into one of the best adventurous and emotional journeys you'll ever go on
- Martin JannerMay 1, 2025I immediately fell in love with this show!
- AnthonyApril 14, 2025If you stick with Christopher Ecklestone to Jodie Whitaker and forget the latest incarnation of the Doctor (too flash, young and cocky) this has been the best revisited kids show since Space1999 and yes we ARE GETTING a space 2099 next year allegedly. David Tennant is of course the best Doctor since Tom Baker and Peter Davidson. Personally my fave was Jon Pertwee...
