- Daniel GustavssonNovember 5, 2024Great show. It's kinda gory and has nice characters. However the pacing is a bit weird and I rolled my eyes at some of the melodrama towards the end. It felt like the show needed way more episodes, so that we would get to know the characters better. It also ends without giving any real answers, sadly. All in all, I enjoyed it though.
- DarlingInThePlexxJune 10, 2025What do you get when you mix a dystopian prison, weaponized blood powers, and a middle schooler framed for mass murder? Deadman Wonderland, baby. A blood-soaked carnival of trauma, betrayal, and survival that absolutely slaps—until it suddenly doesn’t. Ganta Igarashi is tossed into a twisted penitentiary amusement park, where inmates literally fight to the death for the entertainment of the public. It’s violent, bizarre, and emotionally gutting in the best way. You get wild powers, tragic backstories, and a mystery that keeps twisting itself deeper. And then there’s Shiro—equal parts adorable, unsettling, and the key to everything. But then… it stops. No clean ending. No final boss showdown. Just a haunting ellipsis. Not because the story was weak—but because the manga’s creator, Jinsei Kataoka, tragically passed before the vision could be fully realized. So what you’re left with is a powerful, heartbreaking anime that builds a brilliant foundation and leaves you dangling off a blood-drenched cliff. That isn’t a flaw in the storytelling—it’s a ghost of what could’ve been. Still worth the ride. Just know the ending’s absence isn’t a failure. It’s a farewell. ⸻ Tags: 🩸 Tragic Bangers Only, 🕳️ Story Interrupted, 👻 Rest in Panels, 🧃 Bloodbenders in Jailcore, 🤡 Wonderland Wasteland, 🥀 Unfinished Symphony, 📚 Manga Legacy Lives
