The third season of the Australian police-drama Blue Heelers premiered on the Seven Network on 12 February 1996 and aired on Monday nights, and later Tuesday nights, at 8:30 PM. The 42-episode season concluded 26 November 1996.

The Angels' Share5,000 litres of wine goes missing worth $100,000. How was it done and what has local Charlie Drake got to do with it? The new detective makes moves on Maggie, whilst Tom is looking for a carer for his grandson, with unexpected results.

Winner Takes AllA horse endurance race presents problems for the Heelers with both a sabateur and a thief on the loose. Dash and Maggie can't escape Johnny Kowalski's womanising and the team face PJ's return with mixed feelings.

I SpyPJ is back and takes a call from a 3 year-old who's mother is asleep and he can't wake her. His baby sister is also there and is running a fever. But can PJ and the Mount Thomas police force get to them, before the abusive boyfriend gets back?

Reality BytesDash and Adam wreck the hard drive of the Leap linked computer at the station while playing Doom. They have the system repaired locally and are anzious that Tom doesn't find out, but glitches soon appear, which seems to be connected to burglaries Maggie and PJ are investigating.

But his mother is getting bashed by her husband and her boyfriend who live in the same house. If that wasn't complicated enough, all three men are going at it with each other and the police, all the time, with Mrs Darcy caught in the middle, and this will only end badly.

With a photographer and local hunk as suspects, as well as the contestant herself, who is doing it and why? Incidents get more serious and the police have to investigate what exactly is going on and who the guilty party is.

Dead and AliveDash's family problems reach crisis point when her mother is admitted to a Melbourne hospital. She is in desperate need of a donor kidney to save her from certain death. But when advised of a possible donor Dash's joy is short-livedâ€”the donor is her brother Ian who has been in a motor bike accident and is not expected to live.
