Eddie Kramer is the top rookie in the rookie class of '89, and Shauni McClain is one of the last ones to qualify. Shauni starts off as a terrible lifeguard, but the experienced Jill Riley teaches her how to become a good lifeguard. - Second Wave

第6話The Sky is FallingGayle and Mitch continue to fight over Gayle's plan to take Hobie with her. She ultimately changes her mind after Hobie risks his life to save a drowning young girl. A plane crashes into the water near the beach with the occupants, after they are rescued, looking to recover a suitcase of stolen money that they had with them. Captain Thorpe decides to join Eddie and Shauni on their tower in order to teach them. - The Drowning Pool

She begins seeing the son of the victim and during the investigation discovers the man's cousin was responsible for his father's death. A man who helped Jill bring the victim ashore decides he wants to be a lifeguard as well even though he is not qualified. - Rookie School
第8話Rookie SchoolA woman steals a book from a powerful man and hides out from him with the help of Eddie. Craig and Gina contemplate having children when they are married but have second thoughts after meeting a couple while on a romantic weekend. Trevor discovers that his hardest competitor among the rookies is doped. - The Cretin of the Shallows
第10話The Cretin of the ShallowsA rash of murders committed by a fiendish looking man coincides with the opening of a new beach front hotel. Craig does some investigating and discovers that a local senator who will speak at the opening ceremony, knew all of the murder victims. Meanwhile, Gina plays mother to Eddie after he gets his wisdom teeth pulled leading to him having romance-minded fantasies about her. - Home Cort
第14話Home CortJohn D. Cort, a charming rogue and old friend of Mitch's, returns to Baywatch and recruits a friend of his during his days in the Navy to help carry out a shady deal. Meanwhile, Shauni and Jill decide to go into business together by selling sandwiches on the beach to try and put another vendor, who sells questionable sandwiches, out of business. - We Need a Vacation
第15話We Need a VacationCraig, Cort and Eddie take a road trip to Mexico, but their vacation south of the border turns ugly when they tangle with an angry American tourist who won't leave them alone. 第16話Muddy WatersCort and Eddie go to a local water theme park to teach teenagers about lifeguard duties but one of them quickly resents Eddie's presence. At Baywatch, Hobie finds out that parents of his fellow students at school have a dim view of the occupation of lifeguarding and Shauni gets into trouble over her pinup magazine pictures. - The Big Race
第20話The Big RaceCort promises to come up with a load of cash for a nursing home, but he needs Mitch and Craig's help to compete with each other in a water skiing race with a big cash prize. Meanwhile, Shauni is still grief-stricken and afraid to go back in the water in the wake of Jill's death. - The End?
第22話The End?A massive earthquake strikes Southern California causing extensive damage to headquarters. Mitch and Garner look for Craig and Cort who are trapped inside of an underwater cave where poisonous gas is emitting deadly fumes. Eddie is stuck inside of a lifeguard tower with a woman who is about to give birth.
