- A7 gg faHonestly, I don't think Yu Ling Shi is a bad show at all. Right off the bat, the art is actually beautiful—the character designs are super vibrant, the animation is clean, and it's just really eye-catching to look at. But for me personally, it just didn't have that necessary hook to keep me genuinely interested. The biggest issue is that it leans so heavily into the classic isekai tropes that it gives you major déjà vu, making it feel like a story I've already seen a dozen times before in other anime. It’s definitely a pretty show, and you can tell a lot of effort went into the visuals, but the plot just didn't have that unique spark needed to grab my attention and make me actually care about what happens next.
