Lost in the Flood Ratings & Reviews
IGN Movies
Jesse Schedeen
If these last couple episodes have succeeded in any area, it's been in raising the stakes beyond the norm and building up a threat that looms over not just Star City, but the entire world. A master villain like Damien Darhk deserves no less.
Nerdist

Even in the middle of the nuclear apocalypse, Arrow somehow managed to find time to fit in some Smoak family drama. It was genius, really.
Screen Rant
Kevin Yeoman
There's a lot of action going on and much of it looks fine, but it is surface-level intrigue at best, a late-season stall to shuffle the pieces around until Darhk and Team Arrow can face off.
AV Club
Alasdair Wilkins
"Lost In The Flood" is a really good episode, even if it's possible to imagine the story working even better if preceding episodes had built more directly to the conflicts explored here.
TV Fanatic
Lisa Babick
My favorite scene was when Donna thought Felicity was pregnant, and she jumped up and down like a schoolgirl, high fiving Curtis. It gets points just for the absurdity of it considering the situation.
Collider
Dave Trumbore
"Lost in the Flood" as a title was a great descriptor for the aimlessness of tone, direction, and plot in this hour, an unforgivable offense after a season that started off strong and went on to fizzle.
Den of Geek
Kayti Burt
Perhaps if Arrow had explained Darhk's plan earlier in the season, given the audience some dramatic irony from the show's heroes, then we would have cared when the dome was destroyed.
Forbes
Erik Kain
Last week Team Arrow let a nuclear bomb touch down on American soil, killing tens of thousands of people. This week, our heroes crack jokes... It's as if everyone involved, or nearly everyone, has realized just how absurd this is all becoming.
Tell-Tale TV
Lissete Lanuza Sáenz
We're on the edge of our seats now. It could be that Damien Darhk makes for a particularly compelling villain... Or maybe, just maybe, it's that, this time, the story is global. It's not just about Team Arrow, it's about us.
Syfy Wire
Trent Moore
As the world hangs in the balance, we get a chance to see Felicity's mother and father bicker and butt heads, filling in backstory gaps that actually proved to be fairly compelling.
Lyles' Movie Files
Jeffrey Lyles
Some great action sequences and eventful moments weren't enough to make up for ill-timed Felicity family drama resulting in a weak set-up for the season finale.
ScreenCrush
Kevin Fitzpatrick
What should seem like urgent events end up repeatedly sidelined by the Felicity family reunion and its inherent bickering.
New York Magazine/Vulture
Jenny Raftery
"Lost in the Flood" perfectly encapsulates everything that drew me into Arrow in the first place: great performances, stellar stunts, witty dialogue, weighty themes, and a surprise death.
