The team are shocked when Spike manifests from the amulet that Angel brought to Sunnydale and has been mysteriously mailed back to him; Spike died wearing it in Sunnydale, but now his non-corporeal spirit has been resurrected as a ghost. When Angel finds himself in conflict with a necromancer, Spike tags along and is offered a body in exchange for betraying Angel.
