- Jamezon Prime11 de setembro de 2026The animation is spectacular, but I found the pacing to be a bit all over the place from episode to episode. Also the little “explainer” texts/captions that pop up are way too wordy and not on screen long enough to be read! Overall looking forward to a second season.
- Pavchris2 de outubro de 2026I think this probably hits differently depending on whether you've read the manga or not. It is almost vignette to cell direct with some cgi; which is AWESOME. Great nostalgia and elevates the manga.
- It's amazing how well they did. Science Saru perfectly captured the humor, style, and overall feel of the OG Manga. I fell in love with anime in 95 with the movie, adored S.A.C. and 2nd Gig when they came out...but this scratches an itch I never knew I had. Who else feels like theyre watching the Manga come to life with this???
Perfect Adaptation???
- the art style is so immaculate. it's a perfect copy of its source material. I've never seen a show look so good while purposely recreating early anime and manga aesthetics. it makes me long for the days of cel animation again, but this is a really great second place. I feel like all the old sci-fi tech would look really out of place with a more modern art style. I do genuinely hope we see more and more shows using an art style similar to the days of yore. this show feels like such a love letter to the source material that I cannot wait to watch more.
