- Aaron Slade30 de março de 2025It is an absolute crime that BBC/HBO ended this show early. Season 2 was completely rushed. It should of gone for several more seasons - being the most expensive show ever made at the time didn't help. However It is still one of my top ten shows of all time! Although casting a pale Scotsman as the lead Roman was an odd choice, the acting and writing are spot on. You feel like you are really there in ancient Rome. Highly recommended!

Atia of the Julli is perhaps the greatest villainess ever created. Titus Pulo is the yardstick by whom all men shall be measured.
