Wade Griffin was a veteran of thirty years on the Los Angeles police force--many of those as a captain--who retired to open his own private investigation agency. He worked out of the Westwood area of L.A., and hired young and virile Mike Murdoch as his legman. With the help of his secretary Gracie and his police contact Barney, "Griff" investigated murders, robberies and other assorted crimes.
