Spontaneous Human Combustion has plagued humanity for years, randomly transforming ordinary people into flaming creatures known as Infernals. While Infernals make up the first-generation accounts of Human Combustion, the second and third generations became known as pyrokinetics—people gifted with the ability to manipulate and control their flames while remaining human. To combat the Infernal threat the Special Fire Force was made.
Young third-generation pyrokinetic Shinra Kusakabe with his explosive ability to ignite his feet at will, becomes a member of the lively Special Fire Force Company 8. He is determined to become a hero who will save the lives of those threatened by the flame terror.
However, this is not the hero's game Shinra imagined. Faced with many obstacles within and outside the Fire Force, Shinra fights to uncover the truth behind the burning mysteries that have kept him in the dark.

- Naegi Wells6 de março de 2026A fun energetic start to a story based in a mysterious world written for Firefighter style hero's that use fire creating and manipulating powers in some rather fun and creative ways. I'm not a huge fan of the numerous still frames throughout the show, but as it feels more like a creative choice to increase tension and drama(and sometimes comedy), it doesn't bother me as much as in other shows. The characters are all interesting and lovable, the action sequence's are very fast and fun, the BGM adds so much to every scene(especially for the more insane moments), and the ridiculous power ups some of the characters get near the end of this season(specifically the MC) is just stupid fun. But above all the intrigue from the mystery of this world is intoxicating, every episode I just want to learn more about the cataclysm and the current state of the rest of the world. Would definitely recommend to fans of shounen, action, thriller, and/or mystery genres.
