Dutch street boys joined the army as a last chance to become good, successful citizens. One of them, Wensly Francisco, tries to reunite his former comrades in arms to see what has become of them and their dreams. As a 17-year-old teenager, the Antillean Wensly Francisco threatens to die as a result of street violence in Tilburg. Desperate, he gives himself one last chance: he joins the army. When he arrives at the then Dutch army base Seedorf in Germany, a surprise awaits him. In his pack there are many more young people like him: hopeless, dysfunctional and violent. Those guys - Wensly, Allesio, Boulaabi, Valkonet, Perez, Kuik and Van Kester - become friends and call themselves the 'Bandidos'.
