Authors Live is a series of live webcasts, presented in partnership with the Scottish Book Trust, featuring some of the biggest names writing books for children today. The series began on Thursday 4 March 2010 – World Book Day – with two sessions featuring children's poet and former Children's Laureate Michael Rosen.

Oliver was born in Australia and brought up in Northern Ireland. His first picture book 'How to Catch a Star' was published in 2004 and his follow-up was the award winning and breathtakingly beautiful, 'Lost and Found'. His latest book is the first in an exciting new series called 'The Hueys'.
