Alena has been working in the production company MAUR film since 2008. In her previous career, she worked as the director of the Prague House of Photography and in the marketing department of the NG Collection of Modern Art at the Trade Fair Palace. Her filmography as a producer includes feature films such as Fritzi: A Revolutionary Tale, The Crossing, and Tales from the Magic Garden. She received the Czech Film Academy award, the Czech Lion, for Lucie Sunkova's animated film Suzie in the Garden. She’s also a recipient of the Nymburk Lion 2nd Class award and a beloved mother of three great daughters. Her hobbies include horses, big dogs, books, and cinema.
