- Tom Bennett28 de janeiro de 2026As I have seen in other reviews that this movie is a ‘guilty pleasure’ and I have to agree. It was made in 1957 and the special effects were still not terrible surprisingly. It’s the story and Kirk Douglas‘s magnetic personality that make this movie watchable. I watched the original Italian with subtitles and I have to say that the original language makes this movie a lot more authentic and dramatic rather than watching it dubbed. Great for a lazy Saturday afternoon or if you’re on a history/Greek mythology kick.
- Mister Arn19 de maio de 2025I really enjoyed this movie when I was a kid, but it didn't hold up very well. The lip sinking reminds me of 70s Kung Fu movies. The scene where Ulysses turns down immortality had some great lines, but overall, it was better as a childhood memory.
