Tomb Raider Avaliações & Comentários
- NukeLife4 de julho de 2025K thought this movie was great. I didn't understand all the hate. I wanted the sequel.
- Shaydeknight26 de março de 2026Tomb Raider tries to reset Lara Croft as a more grounded, realistic adventurer. That approach is refreshing at first. This Lara is more human, more vulnerable, and less superheroic. But the film leans so hard into realism in her personality that it clashes with the implausible adventure surrounding her. The result is a character who feels restrained while the plot still operates on pulpy coincidence and convenience. Alicia Vikander was not miscast. She is a strong actor and physically convincing in the role. The problem feels more like direction and characterization. The film emphasizes fear and pain to the point of repetition. She spends too much time shrieking, screaming, and recovering, and not enough time projecting grit. The script tells us she is a capable fighter, highly intelligent, and unusually resourceful, yet those traits rarely take centre stage. She often arrives at a challenge with determination, only to shift into panic once the action begins. The balance never quite settles, and the character ends up feeling inconsistent rather than layered. The backstory is also weak and overly neat. Motivations fall into place too easily, and the central mystery lacks weight. The film wants emotional grounding through her father, played by Dominic West, but the execution feels rushed and somewhat mechanical. Meanwhile, Walton Goggins does solid work as the antagonist, bringing a tired, frustrated edge that suits the tone, even if the villain is thinly written. Some of the action stretches plausibility in ways that undermine the grounded tone. Note to the director regarding blowing up a mountain to expose a smooth tomb wall with spinning lock mechanisms: that's not how explosives work in real life. Moments like that remind you the film is still operating on video game logic while pretending otherwise. Even so, it remains a reasonably enjoyable ride. The pacing is steady, the locations are appealing, and there's enough adventure to keep things moving. It's not especially memorable, but it works as light viewing. This is something to watch on Sunday afternoon when you're hungover, on your sofa, with a big mug of soda, popcorn, and some Oreos. The overall impression is a competent but unremarkable reboot that might have improved with a sequel. Vikander deserved a second film to develop a tougher, more confident/competent Lara.
- Syanosis24 de fevereiro de 2026Deserved it's shot at a sequel. The Amazon reboot is going to kill it.
- makdelart26 de novembro de 2025The film is average, but Vikander... I love her!
- Richard9 de novembro de 2025This reboot came in swinging with Alicia Vikander, a bow and a backpack full of daddy issues. Gone are the slow-mo dives and gravity defying stunts, this Lara bleeds, bruises and occasionally cries in the rain. It’s gritty, grounded and clearly trying to impress the “serious action cinema” crowd. The plot loosely follows the 2013 game reboot: Lara’s off to a cursed island to find her missing father, dodge cultists and unlock her inner badass. Vikander is committed, she climbs, fights and emotes like she’s auditioning for The Revenant: Jungle Edition. But the film itself? It’s a bit too beige. The action is competent, the pacing decent, but the spark? Missing. There’s no shark punching. No Daniel Craig in a towel. No flaming glyphs. Just a lot of mud, some daddy drama and a final act that feels like it was edited with a stopwatch. Jolie’s Lara is a comic book fever dream, equal parts Bond girl and PlayStation cutscene. Vikander’s is a survivalist with a heart and a bruised shoulder. Both have their place, but only one makes you want to rewatch with a cheeky grin and quote lines like “I woke up this morning and I just hated everything.”
- albe44326 de outubro de 2025Never seen Lara croft in such a helpless state. They have actually destroyed her character and unnecessary sacrifices throughout the movie
- Coouge24 de setembro de 2025Surprisingly not bad
- Hakihiko25 de fevereiro de 2025A Solid and Enjoyable Adventure "Tomb Raider" delivers a grounded and action-packed take on the iconic video game franchise, offering a fresh and realistic approach to Lara Croft's origins. The film balances intense action sequences with a more character-driven narrative, making it feel less like a flashy blockbuster and more like a survival adventure. Alicia Vikander gives a strong performance as Lara, bringing a mix of vulnerability, determination, and physicality to the role. Unlike previous adaptations, this version of Croft is more humanized-she struggles, she gets hurt, and she learns from her failures, making her a more compelling protagonist. Vikander's commitment to the physically demanding role shines through, adding a sense of realism to the film's numerous action set pieces. The film does a great job with its action sequences, keeping them intense and engaging, especially during the jungle survival scenes and tomb exploration. However, while the first half does an excellent job of setting up Lara's journey, the second half falls into more generic territory, with a predictable villain and some rushed plot developments. The mystery element, which could have been more intriguing, ends up feeling somewhat underdeveloped. Despite its flaws, "Tomb Raider" is an entertaining and well-crafted action movie that respects its source material while delivering a fresh take on Lara Croft. It may not be groundbreaking, but it's a fun and well-acted adventure that sets a solid foundation for potential sequels.
