The band The Suburbans were huge in the 80’s with the song “Right By My Side.” Unfortunately several things happened that caused them to become a one hit wonder. Now, decades later, Jennifer Love Hewitt’s character wants to get them back in the spotlight. The movie has Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, and Jerry Stiller in very odd cameos, almost as if they owed someone a favor. Any Brenneman also stars alongside the writer/director Donal Lardner Ward. The best part of the movie really is their catch one hit wonder of a song that you can now find on YouTube, courtesy of someone who loves the songs and wanted others to hear it as well. Enjoy!

A 1980s one-hit wonder band named "The Suburbans" reforms for a special performance at the wedding of an ex-member. A young record-company talent scout happens to be there and decides to give the now-40-ish performers a comeback push. The film attempts to take a satirical look at the 1990s music business and compare it to the simpler 1980s scene.
