John Woo would have been proud of the dual nature of the killer/pursuer--it almost seems like an American updating of The Killer, with supernatural themes mixed in for good measure. Solid directing with strong performances all around.

Pleasant surprise. That doesn’t make it good. But it’s pretty damn entertaining. It’s trying very hard to be Se7en and lazy google research suggest this was initially pitched as a sequel to it. I dug it.
