Oskar Schindler é um empresário alemão que vê no esforço de guerra nazi, durante a II Guerra Mundial, uma oportunidade para enriquecer. Assim, propõe-se fornecer ao exército do III Reich munições a baixo custo, contando para isso com o trabalho escravo de centenas de judeus que estão confinados ao gueto de Cracóvia, na Polónia. Itzhak Stern, o guarda-livros de Schindler, rapidamente se apercebe de que manter o funcionamento da fábrica é a última esperança de vida para aqueles que nela trabalham. Embora nunca o mencione, Schindler vai a pouco e pouco adquirindo a mesma percepção, e trata de aprofundar as relações de amizade que travou com o oficial nazi Amon Goeth. Este virá a tornar-se comandante de um campo de concentração, tendo como desporto favorito praticar tiro ao alvo com os judeus ali encarcerados.

Now watching it I realise it is such a well made film from such tragic events, Oskar such a hero Cast, directing, score & the fact it is in B&W makes this one of the greatest movies of all time in my opinion but not one that I care to revisit very often because of the difficult content

This is a movie you need to see it is close to perfection as you could get.
